Watch + Film inspired art piece..... (hint: see my Biography)

For any WIS or watch collector having a look at my watch box, it would undoubtedly be the least interesting and most unimpressive of them all... but I can't help but get excited every time I wear my Vostok 420526. Why? Not only is the little watch so quirky and fun (especially given how affordable and indestructible it is), but I absolutely love the film "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" (if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favour).

In honor of the specialness that this watch and film represent to me, a buddy of mine commissioned an artist to create an original piece for me (as a surprise) -- and here is the result!



Pretty cool, right? It'll be hanging over my bar soon enough lol.
