yeah that was my thought but the weight could be a factor as if I am not around for my dad to use the normal one depending on length of cable he might have trouble lifting it where the small lithium battery ones would be a lot easier for him to use and that one seems reasonable in price just takes a bit to believe it could jump start a car thou with the size difference is all seem more power on specs then some of the big ones ?

This thread reminds me - I haven't figured out how to get to the battery in my Merc Estate. It's under the boot floor with a cover, and I can't see a way of removing the cover. I must have another look sometime.

No matter which one you decide on ... you'll be glad it's there the first time you need it.

This has me thinking about getting one of these. There are limited plugs in my garage so having something plug in all the time is not really possible. For my emergency generator battery I have the tender charger plugged in, but it gets pulled when I work on something. One of these would be good to have if I have to boost it just to get the generator started. Like a small lawnmower with electric start there is no battery recharge system on the generator so you need to keep it tended. The generator is actually outside the house I just have the tender running in through a vent.
Cheers,
Michael
Tell everyone you saw it on IWL!

yes think in that situation one of the big ones would be best as it would be more heavy duty then and they do more features that might come in handy could even run some things for a while if power lost happen ...
I have mention before about me thinking of getting a jenny as with the power outages we in the uk are starting to get a back up generator might be a very good idea at some point in the future ..
we had one a few weeks back lasted a couple of hours
