    College / University

Well i thought it would be interesting to see what people have studied or are studying in college.

I started out studying Mechanical engineering in DCU before transferring to Automotive management and technology in DIT.
I graduated this year and now I'm doing a masters in Sustainable Development in DIT.

So what has anybody else studied?

I got a B.S. in Finance from Penn State a million years ago when people didn't, as a common occurrence, take laptops to class.

Currently, I'm a 1L at Temple Law, going for a Juris Doctor.

Which makes me wonder. If JD is Juris Doctor, which is "doctor of law" or "doctor of jurisprudence" and the degree is a doctorate, why aren't lawyers addressed as doctors?

Didn't go to Uni; didn't go to college; didn't go to school much either, after the age of about 12...... I wasn't exactly what they'd call a model pupil

Because one anal orifice (I mean that in the nicest way, really) at the party telling every woman in the room he is a DOCTOR is enough, don't you think?

    Forestry for me.
I walked away in my last semester. There's no money in it, I was starting a family, and I took over a small plastics company.
After that, my interest in forests were hiking and firewood.

    Unbearable degree of irony?

PS and oh, degree in music, a fantastically academic course which did nothing to prepare me for being a performer. More irony
