Bottom of the ninth just means you're almost at the end of the game. Baseball has nine innings, the bottom half of each inning wraps it up,so the game is over adter the bottom of the ninth.

Just before Thanksgiving (technically the 8th, I guess), I picked up 2 Ebel Sportwave divers (black dial and silver dial) plus an Ebel Classic Hexagon GMT, on black alligator strap (1215880) in the Movado Company Store Thanksgiving sale (almost 80% off).

I have not worn the Hexagon GMT which Santa will be bringing me as a gift from my wife (yes - I buy the watch, give it to her, she wraps it and gives it back to me)!

I like that Ebel, in particular the big date.

I wish we had a Movado store nearby. Think there's one in Atlanta near where I'll be staying for Christmas. Perhaps a quick trip is in store?

If Black Friday counts (probably more "top of the ninth"), I got this Orient Star Seeker and a nice deal from Long Island Watch. It makes me happy.

Hot Stove League is the time after the season is over (winter) when fans sit around a hot stove and talk about the season past and the upcoming season.
