**** Firefly - Serenity **** one of the best t.v series out there ****
Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me.
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me.
Leave the men where they lay
They'll never see another day
Lost my soul, lost my dream
You can't take the sky from me.
I feel the black reaching out
I hear its song without a doubt
I still hear and I still see
That you can't take the sky from me.
Lost my love, lost my land
Lost the last place I could stand
There's no place I can be
Since I've found Serenity
And you can't take the sky from me.
Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.
Mal Reynolds was a Sergeant in the war fighting for the Independance side. When the Independance lost to the Alliance Mal bought a transport ship named Serenity. Now with his crew, Zoe his first mate and fellow army veteran, Zoe's husband Hoban 'Wash' Washbourne the pilot, a tough guy named Jayne, a beautiful 'campanion' Inara, a young mechanic Kaylee, a preacher called Shepard Book, a doctor named Simon and his psychic sister River who are on the run from the law, they all must do legal and illegal jobs to make a living while trying to stay under the Alliances radar. They do what they have to do to survive but are constantly getting into trouble.
Sooooo yeah why the only one series it had the chance at something great.
I like it end as it started great but they may have been able to get two more series out of it before it became to a like.
like with some when there's like lots of series every thing get done so I'm all for the three series then out. but one series it was like a taster then wham no more your done mate .
So how many brown coats are around the IWL land I wonder I will finish with mel at his best by saying
Mel... "Next time you want to stab me in the back, have the guts to do it to my face."

Serenity was a little weak--good, but a letdown compared to the series, which was seriously genius.

Oh so many to choose from..
Your mouth is talking. You may want to look to that.
And I'm thinkin' you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.
May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
It's a real burden being right so often.
K, I need that in captain dummy talk.
They don't like it when you shoot at them. I worked that out myself.
The trick is dying of old age before it finds you.
Not altogether wise, sneakin' up on a fella when he's handling his weapon.
This distress call wouldn't be taking place in someone's pants, would it?
But probably my favorite, and I laugh every time I hear it:
This is the Captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Firefly was great. What happened to the Preacher? He appeared to have an interesting back story.

kind like the scene when zoe save the young soldier then this take's place
Zoe: "First rule of battle, little one ... don't ever let them know where you are."
Mal: "WHOO-HOO! I'M RIGHT HERE! I'M RIGHT HERE! YOU WANT SOME O' ME?! YEAH YOU DO! COME ON! COME ON! AAAAAH! Whoo-hoo!"
Zoe: "'Course, there're other schools of thought."
