If push comes to shove - what would you still refuse to do?
They say, one does not know what one is made of, or what one is capable of, until one is pushed to the limit.
Are there principles - ethical or just squeamishness - you hold so dear that there are thing you would not do, no matter how dire the circumstances?
Can you even be confident in saying anything at this point?
My wife and I agree that we would rather die than eat human flesh, but who knows?
Run over a bunch of school children? Probably not. But again, who knows?
PS: I was inspired to ask this after seeing the American remake of Old Boy - awful in every way.
Even in the original, I was not entirely sold on the "Greekly tragic" thing about the protagonist agonizing over having slept with his daughter. He did not know! So, what's the big deal?
Or am I a sociopath?

I have come to accept that I am pretty amoral, which was a factor in my high scoring in several psychopathy tests.
Only caveat is that I don't like doing things improperly and I don't like mess.
