    Dumb Question...

Did a search, couldn't find anything, so here goes with a dumb question:

Since the numbers/indices are painted on the bezel for the Seamaster Diver, has anybody, in the history of this watch, seen any of the paint rub or wear off?

In my 10 years of paying attention to watches I've seen them sun fade and scratch but never rub/wear.

Fair enough, and I doubt I get enough Sun to make any difference.

As it happens, the last time I got a Tattoo the Artist told me "Normally I say to avoid too much Sun while it's healing, but with your skin tone it looks like you don't have to worry".

As far as scratches go, meh. I'll be careful, but there's only so much I can do...

They create a cavity in the ceramic and fill it with Liquid Metal. Check out the short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMkmTMArB70

That is the standard 300 SMP with the ceramic bezel. It will not sun fade. Only the liquid metal models of the PO and other Omega have this. On the 300 SMP it is paint.
