Is there a better place to buy this?

Or a better watch for the money:

Thinking of spending some plasma donation money. The last Gshock I owned was stolen from me. My tungsten carbide chronograph isn't all that great for rain and snow, and I won't be getting the SAS Dubh Linn until tax time. (Wife is hoarding our money for relocation.)

    What do you think?

Well, depends on what "better" watch means?

The PAW1500 does have the last gen sensors, the PRG270 has the latest gen 3 sensors (smaller, less power consumption and more accurate) and its cheaper.

    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...eywords=prg270

And there are plenty of G-Shock choices at that price range as well. You may be able to score a used GW9400 rangeman if you wold pay a little more money

Wish I never saw that GW9400. That may have to be the one.

Would you suggest Amazon? Or is there a supplier that is better?

Well, it looks like I fell for the rangeman. I believe a couple more plasma donations and this will be mine:

I feel your pain, but this is one purchase you almost certainly will not regret. The Rangeman is an awesome tool watch.
