    I picked up this 009 in 2014

I absolutely love this watch. I feel like I wear it all the time, and yet it doesn't feel like I wear it enough

I also added this 7002 (the predecessor to the SKX) last year and had it modded.

Man, do I know this feeling. I started 2014 with no Seikos and ended the year with three: an SKX009, a 7002 and a Seiko 5 World Timer.

I like Seiko's , but on these models I just can't take to the softened grip of the bezel.
They've rounded the tooling of the bezel off too much.

I liked the sharper tooling of the sawtooth bezel someone posted the other day , and I love the tooling of the MM , much sharper.
Maybe if it didn't have that intermediate cut 1/2 way down it , it might make it better

This used to be my swimming watch. But it got replaced by my Alpha milsub, so I sold it after it became a drawer queen.

I would like to replace every one of mine with Murphy bezels, but it's just too much hassle, especially as Murphy doesn't seem to be making them anymore..

WHY does Seiko always leave something F'd UP??

I HAD TO modify every single one of them. Now they're not even SKX anything. Only the case, and the wretched bezel.
But I like them now well enough, with the total overhaul.
