    Montblanc's E-strap

    http://www.ablogtowatch.com/montblan...ed-collection/

I came across this this morning and thought I'd share and get some opinions and thoughts on it.
Personally I think its a great idea, combining the old with the new and making it easier for the watches we love to coexist with the ever evolving technology we use everyday.
I don't know if I'd wear one, although I use my smart phone a lot its nice to sometimes disconnect from it and leave it in my pocket without the constant notifications. Also I'm not sure how comfortable it would be...

Yeah I think it's pretty cool. That said I don't need it - I just use my phone.

I agree I like it but I think right now it is too big and expensive. I would love something that just buzzes and tells me if I have an email, text or call and who it is from. That is really all I want from a smart gadget. Hopefully someone keeps developing the idea though.

    Also how about this?

I do like that idea, it's a lot more intergrated into the strap and would be great matched to watches that suit it.
It would be nice to have something more interchangeable with straps though so you could just change the device onto whatever watch and strap you are wearing that day.

The idea is neat but I'm not sure I see enough benefit to warrant the bulk.
