Thread: Why isn't Vulcain mentioned more?

    Why isn't Vulcain mentioned more?

Why is Vulcain not mentioned more often on watch forums?

They make some stunning watches with in house movements and have a fantastic history (although they did go out of business for a while) and what doesn't seem to be ridiculous prices. So why do they not come up that often? Just overlooked or is there a good reason?

The new Vulcan is rather young. Personally I only like the simple alarm model. Do have a nice vintage Vulcan with close caseback, which is uncommon.

Here the model I like without date:

Vulcain is a fantastic brand and very underrated. They don't market aggressively so that is why you do not hear much about them.
    Cheers,

Tourneau have been selling at deep discounts for a while, perhaps they were not selling well? Looks like they have 4 models listed on-line at 60% off.
MB2, SOH, Aquascope, Tangente, MM300, Blackbay, North Flag, Officer, Visitor.

I think Tourneau is dropping Vulcain, but I could be wrong.

They are nice but never seem to sell. At the local dealers I always see the same models in stock and I know they aren't flying off the shelves.
