I can't work out in what way it is different from what I'm used to seeing, but I'm very much struck by the relationship between the bezel and the case. Very neat. Trim. The way the case goes into the lugs helps the overall effect too, I suppose.....

It's certainly different. Tudor had a certain amount of freedom to play around with case designs; integral bracelets were popular in the 70's, and the Ranger II series was Tudor's take on it. This one is flatter than the usual Oyster cases, with steeper sides. And the blend from case to bracelet is unique to the Oyster line as well. I'm not a fan of integral bracelets, but this one works for me.

Back to reality and every-day life will be a major adjustment, getting up at 4:30 again. For the last 2 weeks, I've been sleeping in till ca 6:30. All good things must come to an end, I guess.
Good luck to all starting the new work-year.
