I decided to start a rotation of all my quartz watches, just because they get less wear in my collection yet I still really like how they look and perform. Also, it's gardening season here, and I'll be doing more shock-repeating things with shovels and hoes for which I often trade to quartz anyway. So Monday gets the Oceanus purple flurp. It does everything - solar power, atomic accuracy, sapphire crystal, alarm, time zones, chronograph, perpetual calendar, great lume, motion-controlled LED nightlight (really!). If only I could remember how to use the four mysterious pushers ...

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Oddly, no. It's a Maratac sumthineruther the model name of which I can't conjure from memory at the moment. The funny thing about it is when they printed the 24hr markings on the rehaut they completely misaligned them so that if some military dude said meet me at the Foo Bar at 1900hrs I'd wind up being 13hrs late.

always back to this lovely 37mm teal dial.. it is my cheapest auto but it is honestly a good one... its the watch that make me considering a nicer 36mm swiss auto someday.. but for now, it will do..
