Question Edox Grand Ocean Chronometer....from contemplation to unboxing

    Hello everyone

I am seriously considering this - at $800-900 USD
(brand new) is it considered a good buy???
Don't see a lot about them
    - couple of You-Tube reviews is all...

Interested in the considered opinion of the IWL
Would they sit alongside Alpina, Mido,
    Hamilton in terms of quality?

Edox makes great watches for their that are overlooked here in the US.

Great fit and finish, good build quality, and excellent lume.

I had that model before and really liked it, but it does wear big, as an FYI.

What's the official chronometer certification alone worth?

I have no idea - Tissot does a LeLocle COSC for a couple hundred more- I like the understated and simple face... no lume at all...., but concerned it will look like a frisbee LOL .....I like the White version too...

I like the white very much, it would be an attractive frisbee!

I like the black one a lot , might be a different thing on the wrist @ 45mm though , could be a good thing though.

The back is nice and unusual

I think i's a little spy hole/ porthole. It shows the balance wheel and seems to be the same shape as the logo on the clasp.
