Normally gin martini, tonight it is Negroni's. Sometimes, you need both the bitter and sweet!

One IMHO. The ABV of the sweet vermouth and Compari don't compare to the gin.

Thank you server program for changing the rotation of the slide. The original picture has the bottle pointing up. Too bad the software does not like it.

It is a pretty decent gin!

Slowly settling in to our new home. Still many boxes to unpack, spent the day looking for new stuff to replace old stuff and decided to enjoy an evening with some old stuff. Alas I have but one left after this one. Just one word, superb!Name: 06B62562-D266-4D8B-A7E0-51089F791705.jpg

Broke out the good stuff, I see. That wine is still a baby, hope you have another to drink ten years down the road.

2005 grand cru classes are just getting to their sweet spot right now. I’ve got one more of these but luckily have quite a few others to enjoy over the next few years.

I have some of the 2000, it’s only just starting to be drinkable, and should be good long after I’m not around to drink it...
