In the 20 years I collected, I am shocked how much watches, at least decent Swiss brands have sky rocketed. I'm glad I have just about every Swiss piece I want because I don't think I can stomach the next Rolex price increase and glad I bought mine when I did. In other brands the increase is much more moderate but still get a little surprised per say of what a U-1 goes for these days. With that said, if you really want one, buy it sooner rather then later. 10 years from now you might be wishing you paid only XXthousands for the watch you wanted.

Yep, watches are luxury items...supply & demand rules the market.

I'm not in the Uk so even more expensive and no income tax. Hence the lovely new MB2 on my wrist right now
