    Being a North American, I had no idea what a layby is - and accidentally drove my vehicle straight into a swamp.

    Thank God, there was no broccoli; because, I hate broccoli (or brocolli, however you spell it). But the jalapenos were off; should have had the wine first.

    But as I reached for the wine I saw that it was Italian, and was immediately mortified at the gauche selection; I drank it swiftly direct from the bottle to avoid being seen with it.
    It is now my duty to completely drain you.

    Then , when there was enough room in the neck , managed to add some lime cordial, I hadn't tasted lime cordial for so long, mmmmm lime and chianti - this was like nectar , I was 'drunk' with just the smell, it reminded me of mammy.
