    Power Source / Movement Type

So, what do you prefer? What's your favorite way to power your watches?

For me it's a manual hand wound mechanism. I love the involvement. In at a close second it's solar Quartz for its perfect practicality. It just keeps going. Forever.

    Over to you....

Ideally, I'd have voted for the top three equally. As it is, I've voted for manual.

And solar quartz doesn't keep going forever.

I wind enough crowns setting the time each morning I don't need to do it to keep her wound up too. Fully automatic for me.

It depends on the watch, but hand winders have really grown on me.

My preference is auto/hand-wind mechanicals. I like the best of both worlds.

Top two equally, but voted handwind because the movements tend to look nicer.
