Question ZENO BASEL Bauhaus vs. Hamilton Intra Matic

Leaning toward the ZENO... mainly because I find Hamilton to be uppity to be charging so much... with a name like Hamilton.
    Jawold! Schnell!

I prefer the Hamilton, but I do wish it had a second hand.

Hmmm, yes, I must say I kinda like the nifty-fifty vibe of that drive-through-diner -stylized motif in the logo 'H'...

    What's the third option?

Take the seconds hand from the ZENO and put it on the Hamilton. I guess.

I feel a "three-hander with date" really needs a second hand and I would suggest the Ebel Classic 100 LE (can be had for less than $1100)

My FC Moonphase lacks a second hand and date window but has the date and moonphase in a subdial. Thinking you need an extra complication to make up for that missing second hand.
Ebels (lots), IWC, Omega, FC, Eterna, Tag, Invicta, Movado

The zeno is mineral [actually it's sapphire] the hammy is sapphire. The zeno is a 2824, the hammy a 2892. Except for the lack of second hand it's a clear winner imo

I used to love moonphases but am slowly falling out of love with them.
That Ebel is nice, but I am somehow attracted to the hardass aesthetics of the ZENO.
No wonder - am a bit of a hardass myself.
