Doesn't look out of place with that watch, but not sure of the attire and occasion.
PS: this is coming from someone who doesn't know how to appreciate NATO, so pls take this with a pinch Of salt....

Well, when even a dog doesn't like it, then that sort of answers it right there. The tricky part with that strap is the gold stripe. It doesn't go with any other part of the watch. But then, I'm not a fan of too many colours on a watch, although one of the Zenith El Primero chronos is sweet. And I think Jack Russells are the coolest dog there is. Smart as a whip, tough as nails.

Yes, try a Gulf Oil racing Nato. I saw a Speedy on this the other daya and it looked GREAT!

I'm a fan of NATOs but I do think gray/black tones work better on the speedy (says the guy who's wearing a blue/grey NATO on my PO right now - doh!)

I think it looks great. I never seem to be able to keep a Nato on my watch for more than a week, but I like the look.

Agree. Maybe with jeans and shirt, but you are overdressed for it in that picture, IMHO.
