    The Four Quid Challenge

Reading Whatmeworry's fine thread on his recent purchase, I started to wonder just how much watch I could get for four quid (or the equivalent in dollars). This got me to thinking that this would be a fun challenge.

So here it is,the four quid challenge:

The challenge starts right now and lasts for seven days. (ending at midnight on the twenty first of January)

All entries need to be in (in the form of a link to an ebay or other internet site sale with a cost, before postage, of four quid or less).

This link will be confirmed eventually by a photograph (and write up?) of the watch in question

You can only make one entry by the closing date, but multiple potential entries are fine - you just have to pick one.

Coolest horological purchase wins (how we decide what is coolest (and any additional rules) is up for grabs)

I assume that this will be mod acceptable, but if not, feel free to delete away. I'm off to bed.

    Good luck

How much is four quid in real money?

Is there some sort of prize going in here?

Do we actually need to purchase the watch, or just find a link?

Would a Royal Family spoon be an acceptable substitute?

Well I was thinking bragging rights really, but I'll have a think about it.

Four quid in real money is four quid, what else could it possibly be?

I kind of liked the idea of purchase, but if people would rather just find as BIN then that's fine.

Only if it has a built in eggtimer. My toaster really has a fully clockwork timer built in, so who knows.

    Tens seconds gave me this:

    and this

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Very-Rare-...item27f68ef762

which looks like a Ruski movement to me

and even a (ahem) fab Sub clone

I'm pretty sure people will be able to improve on this haul (I certainly intend to!)

Lordy this bottom trawling is addictive:

Ok here's something a bit more exciting:
