    Thank you CFR. This is high praise indeed given your fine collection of vintage Omegas. Thanks for the insights on the red second hand. The serial number dates this to 1945-6 which is consistent with this being original. Also the second hand is an odd part to change. I can't see my grandfather doing it for aesthetic reasons.
