    The real bonkers thing about it is his insistence of staying on that line, if that means crossing that hedgerow (or river) that's right in front of him, that's what he does, he can't/won't go 20 yards to the right or left to go over a gate that's nearby, he goes straight ahead.

    (He does break the rule a couple of times, but not often)

    Funny, I just watched episode 4. I found it Sunday and watched all 3 episodes in a row.
    What a wet miserable trek! I don't understand why he didn't take gloves.

    I don't know how it came into my recommended , but I found it only a day or so ago too

    Ep 4 only arrived today - seems he's posting them every monday, looking forward to the last one at Barmouth estuary as I've stayed there recently. (this year)

    Reminds me of Nicholas Crane’s book, Two Degrees West, though he allowed himself 1km deviation

    He still ended up having to boat across a lake and walk across RAF Lyneham
    This was what grabbed my attention when they were reading it on Radio 4
