Well you go through regionals to get ro Nationals USARS is roller sports so my wife has skated for years and she competed when younger, when she became a housewife and stopped working 15 years ago she took it back up we got a coach and she really loved it got her out of the house and kept her fit she is competing in figures which is following an exact line and dance which is typically to music of your choice its really a hobby albeit an expensive one with the coach and travel as well as fees for the arenas but she loves it so I fish 40 hours a week and she skates works for both of us

Got a neat 3D printed stand off of eBay for my UV-25. They were even able to include my call sign.

Works great as sort of a desk/base station. Friend of mine uses the same radio attached to a magnetic mounted auto antenna as a mobile station.

    The Chat Thread #3

Iím not a Facebook person. I created an account about 15 years ago, posted maybe five times and then did nothing again so i shut it down. With me retiring soon Iíve been in my two personal email accounts quite a bit as I move stuff to them and out of my work one after 25 years.

On Monday I was in my personal gmail account and and I saw a Facebook message talking about someone that worked for me in my early days at my company. He started just after he got out of the Army. I followed the link and it was him. While looking I noticed he had just moved to Sebring Florida. I figure out how to get a message to him with no account and he came back in 5 minute. We talked that evening and he is going to come by Saturday to hang out for a bit. He has been working in several states since I last saw him so it is a very small world that we wound up in the same town.

It may be deeper than that. The forces in the Universe have brought you back together for a purpose. ????

. I would not go that far. It's not so Secure if a non-member can still talk to a active member. And it still sends email messages to a six plus year expired account. Be afraid, be very afraid.
