My brother went on a wine spree over the last few years, really building a nice collection. I might have slightly understated how many we have at the moment, but he has cut back his memberships lately.

Of you're having a bad day...

    ... it could be worse.

    WARNING - GRAPHIC CONTENT

I won't go into details because it is really, really unpleasant but I have to share (a problem halved etc).

My mate had a problem with his urethra and had an opp. I was like ooh nasty sorry mate but he's now out of hospital and the full extent of it is now clear to me.

    I'll drop some key words:

'sliced open' 'like a baguette', 'skin graft from both cheeks' 'will remain open until September' 'can't do anything sexual at all until December'.

This is genuinely the worst thing I can think of.

    Anyway, have a good day.

    LOL. That sounds pretty bad.

I've got one, on the 4th the Wife and I were enjoying some pool time at a relative's house. She accidentally (yes really) kicked me, and broke two of her toes.

I imagine I'm not the first person to send pictures of feet over the internet? Hrmmm...off to drown that thought with Bourbon.

Moving on from injuries and foot photos....

I’ve taken to drinking more sparkling mineral water lately, since February or so. Pellegrino, especially. I’ve tried others in the past, but this is the first that I’ve really liked. But I find that unless it’s ice, ice cold, it’s nowhere near as satisfying.

I used to not be a fan, but now I am somehow.

Is it all carbonated soft drinks or just sparkling water?

Pellegrino is great. Just enough flinty mineral taste.

Just water. If you add any flavour I'm happy, but the native flavour is not for me. Really nasty!
