Due date 27-12-2018…Born 01-10-2018. 27 weeks four days gestation. We’re incredibly lucky she’s not physically or developmentally disabled.

The campbells nursery in town has a koi pond. She loves it. She’s also being a huge help this year in the garden:
Strawberry Patch with 3 types of strawberries, beans, peas, carrots, broccoli, Golden Row Tomatoes, Brandywine Pink and Red tomatoes 2 each, yellow pear tomatoes, orange hat tomato, roma tomato, heirloom tomato, Sweet banana pepper, orange habanero pepper, 2x Jalafuego pepper, Giant Jalapeńos, Santaka pepper x2, Sugar rush peach stripe pepper, cayenne pepper, bell pepper, Thai dragon pepper, x2 pumpkin, x3 cantaloupe, x3 watermelon, corn, blueberry bush, raspberry bush, purple basil, thyme, rosemary, oregano, stevia, cilantro, Lemon tree, lime tree, and “pollinator row” containing Gazanias, African violets, sunflower - 25 so far, dahlias, snap dragons, and two other flowers I cannot think of.

And Nebraska is telling us to ration water. Whoops.

She just tested for early enrollment to kindergarten, we’ll find out in a couple weeks if she made the cut. (It’ll be nice to not be paying $220.00/week for daycare. )

And tomorrow, first day of swimming lessons. We are excited.

Wow, she’s one up on me! I had to Google what Gazania was.

And Jurassic Park! My friends’ daughter, she’s about Freyja’s age, just turned 4, and she’s also obsessed with dinosaurs. And specifically Jurassic Park. We had them over for dinner the other day and to help keep her occupied, we put on Prehistoric Planet for a bit, but when that didn’t hold her interest as much, we switched to Jurassic Park and it got us about and hour (well, except for the 1 year old, he was implacable, the big baby). She loves dinosaurs, talked about them the whole time.

On Friday, I selected my watch for the coming week. I wound it up, set the time… and only today noticed that I’d set it an hour behind.

Thinking back, when I visited my aunt in her care home on Friday afternoon, I did wonder why the reception staff had all gone home at 4.15.

Apparently the test for Freyja to get into Kindergarten a year early was not a grade, but rather simply "Pass or Fail".

    She Passed.

She'll be going to Kindergarten in August, and turning 5 in October.

Whinging Poms and all that , but
    what's going on
Usually June mixed , cold even , we've had frost , even snow , although not the norm , just not hot bright sun.
Last week going into work 9 C , home 19 , this week 19/20 in home 29/30. Granted in the grand scheme of things not high compared to some , not here though. That's late July August , a month or two early.
Even getting icecream out of the freezer is scoop bending rock hard , guess the fridge working overtime.
    Whats going on.
Time to switch to an EV , just a phase , get used to it.
Being an island up north almost deffo raining soon , and weather changes anyway , still seems odd , in a worrying way.

Something hadn't noticed until yesterday , doh
Runner beans entwining themselves on their poles anti-clockwise.
Tried loose ones clockwise , wouldn't have any of it. Tried anti-clockwise and stayed wound around.
