Must be an awesome place to work. Just made a visit to KSCVC and was thrilled to see the launch pads and vehicle assembly building. It was nice to see several operators doing their attempts in commercialising space travel. I bet private companies give nice boost to current space race.

John Glenn, the first American to launch and orbit the earth.
Little could I know that 36 years later I would be working for him and would be at the Cape with the family to watch his second launch on STS-95.

That's amazing. He was a true hero.

Yeah man absolutely loving the climbing - it's not a fad hobby (I've had plenty) - I will climb for as long as I'm able.
As we're past the shortest day and they start getting longer that's a thing, also I feel anecdotally that march is more like spring. Basically I want summer back.
May 3rd to 8th. I will be busy in conferences quite a bit, but I may extend my stay one side - that's tbc. I'm booked in to go, the only issue would be if I change jobs fist as its a work trip... I'll keep you updated.
Conference cancelled due to coronavirus

I've started selling dell laptops and I keep typing 'vostok' instead of vostro. Very annoying...

Well, I’ve given in to the panic. Stocked up on food and canned goods and cigarettes and I’m not leaving the house for a while. It looks like I’m going to have to cancel my trip to visit my girlfriend in Pittsburgh at the end of the month, which sucks.

We’re all going to have to just hunker down for a bit. My daughter has just started her job search (perfect timing), and my son is going to have to pick a grad school by April 15 without being able to visit any of them.

I have a cough which is unlike me (haven't been ill in 3 years) so I'm staying away from everyone for their sake. Self-isolating in my shed with essential supplies.
