Oh yeh forgot about ribs , I might have done a rib or two in the past - they aren’t that nice, but soon fix themselves.

Exactly. Unless you puncture a lung there's not much the doctor is going to do for you anyway.

I’ve had a drain fitted too , for a lung that was collapsing (due to an internal bleed)
I was awake but drugged up (on the hospital meds !! Morphine iirc) But I can still remember it happening
side of the ribs and .... bam !!

I wasn't going to go but my boss insisted. The doc isn't exactly cherry about this - nice chilled guy but he says there are potentially unpleasant outcomes if it doesn't heal right like a useless finger due to tendons not growing back properly etc...

The doc is right. You can do a lot of permanent damage. I wouldn't recommend what I did. I just had the good outcome. I

The gala we sponsor is this weekend This year's theme is Middle Earth. Onee of the big add ons I did this year is an ent who is ten feet tall in a bit of a crouch. He is finished. Instal starts tomorrow and carries through 'til Saturday morning.
