Well currently one watch has changed my planned for the year the Melbourne Watch Company Carlton.

I have really liked MWC's stuff but I have been trying to focus my collection on stuff I really love. But this fits in nicely as a grab and good quartz.

My next purchase is going to be either a dateless vintage Vostok blue Scuba Dude, a dateless Vostok Garagin dial Amphibian or a vintage Ruhla Quarz 32768 if I can find any of them.

    Nay from me Mikey,

Roman Numerals on a diver, Gold, extended date windows and sub-seconds on a dive watch = all a huge turn off

im no fan of roman numerals in general. Too bad Cartier uses them on all their models

I actually like that one quite a bit. I wasn't a fan of that lineup until I saw them in person.

And I like the fact that it uses a lot of design elements not typically found on a diver. It makes it much more unique and not just another Sub clone.

Well, right now I am considering a dive or dive inspired watch. I have three in mind.

But I am a magpie. By the time I am ready to buy I have probably already gone "OOOHHHH! Shiny!" about something else.

i love the Kontiki, but i prefer the regular size 4-hands, cos imo the minutemarkers are placed way better and i think the hands look better too...Ideal would be if the 3hander would have the minutemarkers and hands of the 4hander..

Yay from me. I like it because it's a diver that *isn't* traditional-looking.
