    Fantastic retro.

You have quite the expertise in restoration. Wonderful job.

I'm a bit shy to say that I've been looking at those Rado and others lately, basically because of you.

    Thanks for sharing!

thank you both. I consider it a job well done, then.

Daniel, I would never have thought that a good portion of my collection would have Swarofsky crystals in them either...

Where to start? If you are looking at scratchproofs a Diastar 1, Diastar 8 or 8/1s are classic vintage. If you want steel the whole NCC line is hard to beat, though hard to find too.

As Scott says, there are a lot of dodgy ones, so don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you. It has taken a few years of experiments and the occasional mistake to get here, but it has been a relaxing and educational journey.

Beautiful watch and awesome restoration that you've done!

I know this is an old post but I have a couple questions:

I am new to vintage watches (and here) and just won an auction for a silver(grey) faced with black line NCC-101, it was from a 96% seller and now I am worried about a dodgy buy. What should I look for once it arrives?

Second question, do you have any video of your restoration processes?

    cheers
