Thanks! I am getting the hang of changing the straps and the clasp, since I bought only one clasp for the two straps. (The other strap is black.) Thanks to the good folks on IWL, I also bought some watch tools!

Thanks Brian. It is the very first Rado I ever bought. Rado told me they built 2000 of them in 1961 only, which means it is genuinely my birth watch, and that it cost 220 CHF.
It's an odd little monocoque case; the movement is accessed through the top of the watch.

Nice strap! And totally agree with you that it give the watch a different feel....like new. BUT, that shouldn't give you a reason to stop hunting and looking for the next nice timepiece to share the straps you already have....heehee
