Cars and Watches..... Yeah, I know!
So it's not the greatest comparison to make, but we see it time and time again. Just for FUN (!) I thought we could have a bash at seeing how well we could link some car and watch brands with some semi-decent likenesses..
My attempt.
Toyota - Seiko: Japanese with a long history and a reputation for quality
Lexus - GS: Luxury sub brands of the above companies. Both offer excellent products which perhaps took a while to be fully understood outside of Japan
Maybach - ALS: German, at the top of their game and both rejuvenated brands
Porsche - Rolex (Professional range): The default sporty choice that many aspire to for a very good reason. Enduring designs and everyday usability
Rolls Royce - Patek: Both are royalty in their own area
Bentley - Vacheron Constantin: Exquisite, long interesting histories with a little fun and character injected
Bristol - Bremont: Both ever so English, with a touch of Biggles thrown in
Audi - Omega: A rich history of achievements, a quality brand with an upmarket image and yet a real spread of prices
I have a few more up my sleeve, but rather than rattle them all off I'll throw it to the flow first.....
Casio: CA-53W-1ER, GW3000B-1A, GW-M5610U-1ER & GW7900-1ER
Rolex: Submariner 14060M

Omega: Speedmaster Professional 3570.50.00
Meistersinger: Perigraph AM1002
Ben Sherman: S489.OOBS
Rotary: 1990 Quartz (Gold)
Steinhart: Ocean GMT 39mm
Certina: DS Super PH500M & DS PH200M

I have been trying to think of a car maker that can compare with Rado.
Innovation, striking designs, undervalued among the general public.
Any ideas..?

Nobody else want to play?
Morgan - Robert Loomes: Both have that slight wife of tweed about them (in a very good way)
GShock - Range Rover: Both are trendy, will take anything you can throw at them but still come with a whole host of features and gadgets
Panerai - Amphicar: Quirky, distinctive and designed for the water

Citroen? I was trying to think of a watch with those exact values.
Way ahead of it's time, and a bit Marmite.

Possibly true with the old Citroens. TBH I was hoping for something a bit more stylish, lol.
They're both more than a bit Marmite.

Fiat?
TAG might be like merc? It now pretty much encompasses every segment. From F1 to compact tiny two seaters to moving vans? and especially some are good, some are not so good?
And i think range rover is too high end for gshock.. Price tag way too high. Maybe gshocks more like subaru?
