    How about Lotus and Zenith? Both are relatively unknown outside of enthusiasts, and both are known more for their underpinnings (chassis or movement) than anything else.

    This is not to impune Zenith's excellent fit and finish in the slightest.

    Vostok is obviously Lada.

    They haven't changed in years. They aren't the prettiest or nicest thing on the road but they are tough.
