Very LE Nivrel
Typical!
I go and look at Nivrels on eBay, find one that I love for it's numerals and red 12
and then I notice the price
$5595
Ho hum, back to Russian vintage
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

Very LE Nivrel
Thanks DA, but that has none of the charm, to me
Wide bezel and lugs, apologetic numbers, and that 'let's have a blank ring round the edge to use up some space' thing so common on modern watches :-(
There's an *exuberance* about the repeater that's missing here

You've got to have some space between the train track and the rehaut, surely? There's enough space for "Made In Germany" and that's it - same as on the watch you posted, no?

OK, fair enough :-)
I'm looking at the Smiths in comparison. The outer space is the same thickness as the train tracks on it, and it has a narrower rehaut and bezel
There's something about the airiness of the numbers and track on that Nivrel contrasted with the wide bezel
So top: the repeater (sigh), then the Coeur de la Sarre (wish it was smaller) and I'll pass on that last one :-)
