Thread: Grand Seiko HIGH Beat in SLOW Motion....

Grand Seiko HIGH Beat in SLOW Motion....

Not the greatest quality but it was an interesting experiment to see how many increments the seconds hand makes just for one simple second to get that smooth glide of the high beat movement. In slow motion you can really see the effort this fascinating , fast paced tiny engine makes to keep precise time and makes me appreciate the high beat complication even more. Hope you enjoy!

Would like to see a 16 bps Precisionist in SloMo.

There would be no increments I would think or very slow to a linear motion.

I much prefer seeing it move normal speed! The fluidity of that seconds hand is amazing.

    Very nice

I want to do a prolonged exposure photo of an automatic, my hi-beat and a SD, and a quartz and a 9F to see the difference in the seconds hand motion.
