SBDX012 arrival - some pics to start

Good looking piece. Dang its a tall piece. Very toolish but super retro cool too.

I have it now on a red stitched rubber strap..wonder what it would look like on a super engineer?

    caseback very nicely done

solid workmanship overall, lume pip is recessed..bezel clicks cleanly with some slight back play
crown screws in nicely but doesn't catch by going anti clockwise?

domed crystal+high rehauts+sloped chapter ring makes for a very 'deep' dial.

    the gold is very nice

brushed hands reminds me of the SBGx115's

red pip is a nice touch

    nuclear lume

    enjoy

    *here's a different look

another look...will stick to this for a while probably

its a waterproof curved end hirsch

Very nice, is the case the normal Marinemaster case?

It looks like the my Marinemaster and my Blackbay have been upto no good in the safe!

It looked 'the business' before; but putting that bracelet on it puts into 'don't mess with me' territory

    here we go

    Difference from SBDX003 to SBDX012

    • Gold print for the bezel font is true to the origin pieces - From Seiko's site, translated by google "the character on the bezel is subjected to a golden finish by anodic oxidation treatment of laser... By the electrolytic treatment anodized material, a surface treatment for generating the artificial oxide film. Color is born by the refractive index of the light..."
    • Bracelet included
    • 4 line text on the SBDX012
    • red light marker on the seconds hand
