    It seems to come naturally.

Skywatch is well-tuned to it, and now so are you.

    Not sure fine-tuning was necessary.

By the way, “Blum” is a Jewish name in watch-making regions. There were lots of family connections between Bescançon and La Chaux-de-Fonds/Locle, and Jewish families were instrumental in the watch industry of that area starting in the late 19th Century.

I can well understand why someone in northeastern France (close to Third-Reich Germany) with a Jewish name would seek a change in, say, the late 30’s. Yema was founded by Belmont in 1948, so the timing is plausible.

I considered that, but he seems to have changed his name in 1966.

I kinda like it. Not gonna buy it but I'd wear it if you bought if for me, Geoff.
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I have a dislike of fake screws and seeing that perfect alignment I can't help thinking they're fake.

Taking a few cues from the Royal Oak.

Well, it seemed like a good theory!

Maybe he was tired of being confused with Charles Blum, who by that time was extremely influential in the Jura watch industry.

    Or not.
