Bought one of the 80s models today.

I like that new colorful line up of the DW-5600.

Yep . I got a similar one - the BY0106. Similar color scheme. But I wanted a center second and weekday (the BY0106 has a small second and only date). I'm in kind of a "center second hand"-phase . A big, preferably white center second is just nice to watch IMO .

Saw a used Citizen AT8125 and snatched it up from ebay. I had one before and sold it at a huge loss. This one was even cheaper than what I sold mine for -- so the watch collector logic kicks in: "If I buy this for cheaper than I sold mine, I can compensate my loss." Genius, right? lol
Problem is -- it seems to have a dead battery. I hope I can wake it up with a few days in the sun on the window sill. If not I can send it back since it is from a professional seller with 1 month exchange policy. So no risk basically. I do hope however that it does wake up in the sun.

Ooh, nice - the watch came today and just ten minutes in the sun were enough for the seconds hand to start ticking at 2-sec intervals. So battery is still fine. Now it just needs to charge. So I basically got a brand new (just noticed I had written "used" but it was advertised as "new with defects") AT8125 with an MSRP of 449€ for just 160. Bargain of the year.
