White: any nz Marlborough sauvignon blanc and I'm happy. Fresh, crisp, zesty, flavours for a white for me.

Red: haven't developed my pallet enough to choose a favourite or even a preference yet tbh. I think there's a lot of bollocks surrounding red wine.

However, I have a decanter, which I gather is utterly essential for the appreciation of claret, so I use that.

Big fan of reds here, and just starting to learn whites. I'm a New World reds kinda guy, and very much love a few specific South American regions, mainly in Chile and Argentina as well. I do like some California reds as well but find they are generally overpriced for what you get.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

In that case, Everclear, Diesel or Bacardi 151 are better choices than any wine.

I have some of this. You know it is fine wine when it is in a mason jar.
