Hey Cats,
Not sleeping again so I thought I'd do a build I've been considering over the past couple months.
This is an old active service military from the junk piles. Thought I'd put my homeless Rolex movement into it.
Formed and cut a new acrylic crystal for it.
The subdial hand is a dummy as this movement is not set up for a subdial second hand.
I like the result.
The movement is the oldest Rolex movement I've seen to date, adjusted six positions and for temperature. Has a serial number 5019 on the dial side. Unfortunately the screw for the setting stem lever snapped so it's more of a key winder type movement now until I get it fixed if ever.
Peace,
Preston
