Hmm, this must be a brand new movement with the extra 7 gauss rating

I can't see what advantage being the only person still able to tell the time in a huge magnetic field would give Bond over his enemies. Maybe in a tight spot he could inform them that their favourite TV show is about to start and escape while they settle down to watch?

It can't be true anyway, we all know DC would never agree to wearing something as monstrously vast as a 41.5mm AT ... on his tiny wrists? :-)

Agreed, I would guess he'll just continue to wear a blue Aqua Terra but presumably the new version and you're right it won't be 41.5mm!

I love the way Omega have 'limited' it to 'only' 15,007 pieces, they'll sell out in no time

Omega has to slow down with these 007 Limited Editions. I think the Quantum of Solace Planet Ocean was perhaps the only tasteful one they released, in my humble op. The laser-engraved film title on the crystal was a tad overdone, but from almost every angle, it looked like a smear of Vaseline, so you could almost ignore it. The PPK grip dial was a clever touch. Shame that the nicest LE happened to be attached to one of the lesser-quality Bond films.

And it always bugged me that this was a 45.5mm model when Bond wore the 42mm model in the film. But I think that was Omega cashing in on the big watch craze. Funnily enough, I sold many more of the 42mm POs than the 45.5mm ones after this film was released.

I really loved the dial on the QoS watch. This new one is hideous. I thought Omega would have Bond wear the new 300.
