    This could be a long guessing game, as bananas are grown in at least 107 countries including Germany (shores of Lake Constance in Southern Germany which has a Mediterranean-like climate). I read a book entitled "Banana" a few years ago about their history and significance; apparently more people in the world survive on bananas than rice which amazed me.

    So Lake Constance (or Bodensee) is y answer this time.

    Agreed, I can think of at least 25 locations...hell it's easier to go to the grocery store for a banana
