Max Bill - Nomos Textile strap?

I just picked this up gently used and I'm very happy with it

The stock leather does the job but I suspect it wil break down over time so I though about picking up something a little more casual to give it more wearability.

The Nomos weave that comes on the Ahoi looks less dressy and worth a shot?
Anyone have a photo / any experience?

I don't have the watch anymore, but I can tell you the Nomos woven strap is super comfortable.

Thx Nokie - i remember handling it once and liking it on the Ahoi.
Ive tried to order it of their website but paypa isnt playing nice with Nomos.... its frustrating because you loose 12 hours between emails.
Get it eventually I'm sure, no real rush.

    Did you check on Panatime.com?

They carry some nice replacement straps for Nomos? Not sure if they have the woven/perlon ones, but the thought just occured to me.

First congrats with this great watch and also good you've chosen for the best dial without a date.

Looking forward to the photo's! Although I think leather will be the best combination for the watch.
Do like perlon a lot as I have it on another watch, but will keep my Junghans on leather for now. I did try a couple of different straps and made some photo's of it.

    thx bidle

I have no problem with the leather, I think it looks and wears great.
However Ive seen them looking pretty haggard after continuous use.
My thinking is to rotate onto the Black Perlon for less formal wear and keep the leather in VG condition for more formal wear.
From pics Ive seen the watch maintains a strong vintage vibe on Perlon.
I have about 6 leather straps for my SAS air so I feel like I have the leather strap thing covered there.
    cheers
Will post some pics when they arrive.

    Matt:

Please post pix when you get your new straps. I would be interested in your feedback on what you think of the quality.

    Thanks.
