    Just saw that on the news. Tragic, and disturbing - apparently a near new plane.

    One flight attendant who survived was supposed to be on the one that went down a few months ago - but changed her shift.
    Life is weird.

    While not a subscriber to any organized religion, I wish to borrow a phrase from that tradition, since much of religion's inner (psychological) function was to allow expression of unverbalizable reaction to overwhelming events:

    "May those who died find themselves in a better place, May God have mercy and comfort those in mourning."

    I'm not going to read that link for personal reasons, but babies are super resilient. That said a long time without oxygen is a long time without oxygen.

    I very very much hope the best for him or her.
