One of the few/only Seiko I'd consider buying

Breitling is an easy target because their most popular models are perceived as big and busy. The fact is they have a huge variety of watches to choose from, cleaner models like the TO's, SOH's, Avenger 3-handers, and Galactics that are not.
I'm definitely not a Rolex fan. I owned a Daytona long ago and hated it. Almost bought a Sub before they wisely updated it, and just couldn't do it at the counter of the AD. I would however be all over one of these!

A wise assertion from any watch lover. A handful is certainly asking a lot but at least one is absolutely attainable. Drives me nuts when I see a myopic negative view of an entire brand.

There isn't a single watch by Graham or uboat that I would like to own. Happy to be proved otherwise.

A tough task indeed, and not one I would be willing to undertake

    Hublot's Classic Fusion

This cheap Invicta quartz model 'Vintage 12189' is a fairly decent design.

Are those considered major reputable watch companies? Maybe more niche based these days.
