Serious lust going on here... Clue me in on G.Gerlach

Saw this guy on Worn&Wound last night....

Really digging it and it fills a hole. But can anyone share their experience with their watches?

I've got a couple of their early watches , the ORP Dzik and what's it's name Sokół, names derived from submarines.

Very nice though they are I have never given them much wrist time and will probably sell them soon, I just got sucked into buying them for the look at the time.
Don't take that as I don't like them , just not enough wrist to go round for some watches.

Look better in pictures than in person when you handle one, IMHO.

Thanks for the feedback. I saw their original one in the steel and was not wowed by it. I was wondering if they are better now. This one seems a step up in many ways...better movement, sunburst dial...idk

Their quality is lacking and so is their customer service. Purchase at your own risk.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. Is that personal experience?

Yes. Owned two watches from them. Got kicked off their fan boy thread and I'm not the only one.

This thread has saddened me. I wanted a watch from a new country to my collection, and I love some of their designs
