My word is useless, i am a grade A spineless jellyfish...i bought a PAM000183, WTF???

For those who know, there were some recent threads where it might have slipped my tongue that i "don't dig" PAM's. To make a long story short, i just pulled the trigger on one. The people who know me from the WUS-day's might remember i can be impulsive sometimes, and do some wacko impulse-buy's from time to time. Recently i sold 3 of my collection car's (a 308gtbi, a 348f1 and a 2002Tii Alpina for those who want to know) and my motorcycle (BMW GS, no pun intended) so i had some "pocketchange" burning in my hands. So, now i will find out what all the fuzz is about right? Well, heck, if i continue to "not dig" PAM's, i still can flip it, cos everybody loves PAM's

(ps: i kinda like the 183, it was the 424 that made me look at Panerai)

i completed fase one of the "PAM-experience" : Feeling snobby to pay the full retailprice with the AD, if you ask for the price, you can't afford it .
O, and Belgian retailers don't EVER give you discountprices

Well, unless they change the design in the next few months (anything is possible in that time, I guess) it'll look something like this, I think?

yup, that's the one. They had one in the shop but it was a demo model. The shop-owner will adopt the demo-watch later on...I had to let go my usual preferences like minutemarkers and things like that, but i have to admit, it is a real goodlooking watch. The wire-lugs make the 45mm case look less humungous...

It's a classic, you will like it. Personally I just don't like the strap it comes on. To flat and shiny. But in pam country, the supply of straps is endless...
