    Yes they are. In Saskatchewan we actually have many of the birds that Cuba does: cormorants, herons, osprey, turkey vultures and much larger white pelicans but other than the cormorants and pelicans they are pretty uncommon. We were having a party on the third floor of the building we were staying in and we had turkey vultures hovering below us. That does not happen in Saskatoon.
