Yeah, that guy. What was that? Same shit happened a few years back and they denied Suarez his 32nd goal because he took it too quickly. It was a chaotic moment as it always is when a goalkeeper is sent off or taken off, and then Atkinson is like “Hey, free goal, go take it, don’t tell anyone”.

Yeah. The horrible thing is that I was conscious of it being him all match so, when Adrian was organising the wall, I had a feeling he would do exactly that a split second before it happened. "I'm blowing the whistle! Take it! While they're out of position!"

I don't usually buy into the biased ref' thing- they all make mistakes - but Atkinson doesn't even hide his contempt these days. Ever since Gerrard it has felt like he has a weird thing about putting us in our place. Must be getting close to retirement.

It was good to see big Andy Carrol leading the line again for Newcastle. Hopefully he can stay fit.

I really like ASM and Jetro has been solid at fullback. We have 6 good centerback options. Hopefully our forwards start scoring regularly and we start moving up the table. The middle is so crowded it is all to play for.
