Maybe he’ll be in touch after Aubameyang’s hat-trick tomorrow.

God Steve Bruce is so crap. If he is still in charge on Newcastle by December we will be going down. Worst manager in the Premier League

I hardly expected it to.
Liverpool’s first-choice eleven will be hard to beat this year.

Jota’s looking pretty lively too. But Thiago just tested positive for COVID, which isn’t great.

I hope we don't see a lot of lower league teams folding before fans can come back into the stadiums. Macclesfield Town folded from owing 500k while Bale is getting paid 600k a week.

Yes, it could be very serious, and hopefully the Premier League will act as if it is still Division 1 of 4, which business arrangements aside, it is.
It’s not easy though, because the needs of the lower clubs are not equal. At the top, there are clubs with parachute payments, and there are some that have recently received hefty transfer payments.
As a community, Southend and Grimsby are as important as Manchester City and Liverpool, and there are teams in Division 2 that were in the Premiership. It’s one thing. Luton were once in the old Division 1, then out of the four professional leagues altogether, and are now looking to get into the Premiership. Everybody needs each other and every club counts.

Especially when you consider 49 teams have played in the Premier League and only 6 teams have been in the EPL since it started. 6 teams have played in all 4 divisions.
I will be amazed if Southend or Wigan survive this season.
